‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) over the years, it’s that she sometimes takes on more problems than she can handle.
And while there’s no doubt that her heart is always in the right place, this time around things are going to get more than just complicated. That’s because she’s playing with the emotions of her new love, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) while trying to figure out the ones between her and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Here’s what you need to know.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) Has Got More Problems Than She Can Handle
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless Head Executive Producer Josh Griffith says that this love triangle in the making is potentially going to destroy relationships and perhaps even lives, especially since Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is involved.
He said, “Adam and Sharon’s bond will be exposed in a very public way and set the stage for a dangerous turn of events for Chelsea and Rey. Meanwhile, Chloe will see herself getting through to Chelsea and will stop at nothing to protect her friend.”
If that weren’t enough, Sharon will also have to deal with her daughter Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) problems along with her ex, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Griffith previews, “Nick and Sharon will be challenged as parents when Faith’s behavior takes a turn for the worse. Faith has not fully recovered from the trauma of Sharon’s cancer and being bullied. Faith will be very resistant to help until Nikki steps in to take control. Nikki and Sharon will put their differences aside to help Faith.”
