‘Young And The Restless’ spoilers show that we honestly have no idea what the hell is going on. Donny Boaz’s (Chance Chancellor) run on the show has come to an abrupt end and we’re not sure why. Over the last couple of months, we’ve seen posts from Boaz speaking out about Los Angeles and its “depressive/oppressive bubble”. Did these comments and things going on behind the scenes lead to the decision?
What’s the strangest part of the puzzle is that he said he knew that the show wasn’t going to kill off or replace his role, but rather that Chance would just “not gonna be there anymore”. This is one of the weirdest things to happen, and we just got out of 2020. So, what does this mean for the rest of the cast and the show?

We’ve previously reported the fan’s reaction to this news, and it wasn’t good. Though, what will be more interesting is how they will explain this on the show… Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) explained (kind of) that he needed time to figure everything out and told her to go with a donor, as he was having issues himself. (Was that a shot at Boaz because he made the writer’s mad or something?)
I’m afraid that Abby will get a “phone call” and that it will be Chance telling her that he can’t deal with all of this and that he’s left, thus, completely ruining the character and everything Chance stood for. The entire situation is strange but it feels like there are hard feelings behind-the-scenes and the show was looking for a way to boot Boaz out.
