‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal the Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) secret is basically out now. We saw Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) face off with her rapist last week.
However, there’s one character who’s having the hardest time accepting the truth. Let’s take a look at what we see ahead for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). And how this could impact another character.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Perfection
First, we have to say Durant was great last week. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate Claire got some harsh reality when she found out Charlie was Allie’s attacker. Our initial reaction was one of annoyance. And we still don’t really like that Claire was so fast to come up with excuses for a guy she barely knows after condemning Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
However, Durant’s performance won us over. We felt Claire’s desperation to disprove she’d made such a terrible choice in love. Her shock and hurt at what he’d done to her cousin was clear. As was her pain when she had to admit he’d lied straight to her face about his involvement.
We think Claire’s grown up a lot since her return to Salem, and her obvious guilt has been even more so with Durant in the part. So, we don’t see her going back to her former ways. However, we think she will have a lot to deal with for weeks and months to come.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Bonding
As for her future, we missed the episode where Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) barges in to save her, thanks to preemptions. However, the weekly teaser made shown how defensive he was of Claire.
They’ve bonded quite a bit in the wake of Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) alleged demise. We see her getting even closer to him, as he might be the one best able to understand the anger, pain and shame she’s dealing with now. We see this going farther.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Romance Rebound?
Claire and Ben are both damaged people. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate almost anything goes is Salem. So we don’t think it would be out there for them to end up doing the rebound thing. The actors have been good together, and we think they can pull this off.
Of course, we think a return will happen eventually for Ciara. When and if that happens, that will definitely ben the end of this fling. We see there being a little bit of conflicted feelings about parting, but their guilt will likely be a factor for a while, as we do think any fling would be on the downlow.
