Jeffree Star has been getting a lot of backlash lately and his business has encountered a lot of loss. One of the things that his fans have noticed lately is that his assistant, Maddie Taylor, may have just left him too.
It is almost as if she just disappeared. Could she be part of the reason that his business is failing? Does she know more about what has happened with him that she is letting on? There are many questions about her and we decided to look through her Instagram to see if we could get some hints.
Jeffree Star: The Star Controversies
There have been a handful of controversies that have followed Star this year. It all started with James Charles and the scandal that brought to Star saying that he was “aggressive” and “mentally abusive”.
There was also the Shane Dawson and Tati Westbrook scandal that shook Star and there have been many of his palette launches that have failed miserably. Did we mention that Star got called out because some of the names of his products were racist.
Jeffree Star: Did His Assistant Leave?
Star is really building a name for himself. Things are getting pretty bad for Star and many think that is why he decided to move to Wyoming. Now it seems that Maddie Taylor has jumped ship too.
Why do fans think that she has left? It came out of Reddit on December 22. There is a group called “eatmyfvck” and there are some posts that Star and Taylor had it out and she ended up unfollowing him and he did the same.
Shortly after this post went up on Reddit, Maddie posted on her story and her fans thought it was pretty cryptic, yet telling. She wrote, “Believe it or not there isn’t a single person you need in this life more than yourself. Put her first.”
Some fans think that Maddie is moving on to bigger and better things, while others think that she doesn’t want to be grouped with Star after all of the allegations have come up.
There is also the question of spreading her time between California and Wyoming. Perhaps she may not be ready for that. She hasn’t deleted all of the pictures of her with Star, but she did delete a lot of them.
No one really knows if she has quit for sure, but it does seem as if these two have had a falling out.
