For YouTuber and Makeup mogul, Jeffree Star, the rumors are swirling that he could be going to prison. All of the controversy that has followed him this year has taken its toll and he ended up buying a ranch in Wyoming to get away for a little while.
There have been rumors about sexual assault, paying hush money, and there were a lot of videos that came off as racist to many of his follows.
After calling a few of his products very racist names (Lipstick Nazi and Cremated), Star has been through a lot in 2020 and some of his fans have started jumping ship. Now there are prison rumors all over the online world.
Jeffree Star: Is He Going to Prison?
The world of Twitter is afloat with tweets about Star having to serve time in prison. There were sexual assault allegations made against him in October of 2020.
The teenager accused Star of performing non consensual oral sex on him and feeding him Ambien. This was apparently all done at Star’s home in 2009. The man that alleged these claims is Gage Arthur.
He also said that Star tased him. Star’s layers have denied every claim that Arthur has made. Then there were rumors that Arthur was paid to retract his statement and just like that, he did.
He told the press, “I’m not sure I’m remembering stuff correctly. I may have misinterpreted things…I’m retracting our communications.”
So where did these prison rumors start? There have been several Twitter users that have claimed that they saw paperwork that states that Star is going to prison, but somehow this paperwork hasn’t been found yet.
One Twitter user wrote, “Is Jeffree Star actually going to prison??? Because I could use some good news..” Another Twitter user wrote, “What is this Jeffree Star going to prison s**t? It is true?? What’s happening?? Please say it’s true.” There was one more who posted about this topic. They wrote, “I’m not trying to defend Jeffree Star. I just wanna say, if you think he’s actually going to prison, I can assure you his legal team is gonna settle for a couple million while he sits in his mansion unbothered. He’s too rich to be affected. That’s just how our legal system works.”
Star has probably seen these rumors, but has yet to comment on what is going on. We have yet to see these leaked documents, but when we do, we’ll be sure to share them!
