TLC ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers indicate that Olivia is going to LA for work, and it looks like Ethan wants to tag along. While she said she never wants to stifle that, she said that she and her friend Liv (same name) will be doing a lot of set-ups for her work and rebranding, so when Ethan proposed that he go with her, she didn’t seem too thrilled about that initially.
He said that he wouldn’t get in the way and that he would try and let Olivia do her thing while she was there but I can’t help but think that maybe this trip is going to be a bit more awkward than Olivia intended on it being.

Especially next week because it looks like Ethan is going to literally bare his soul and tell the world about getting off for the first time, not gonna lie I kind of want gallons and gallons of brain bleach after hearing Ethan hint about that, but he’s with his wife so I guess there’s that level of comfort.
Olivia says that everything in LA is outside of Ethan’s comfort zone, but that he’s willing to try and get out of it for her. That’s a good thing, but will it eventually lead to more problems for them? I hope not.
What i hope is that Ethan doesn’t eventually resent Olivia for ‘leading him astray’ because sometimes guys, especially those that grow up in uber conservative households, have that mindset. That a girl can make them ‘fall’ or whatever when in reality, they’re responsible for their own decisions.
I don’t think that Ethan would consciously do this to Olivia but I’m wondering if, in the back of his mind, he may be questioning that and that’s why he seems a little reluctant to get out of his comfort zone, at least at first.
My theory is that maybe that’s the seed that Kim and Barry were trying to plant in Ethan, that his wife was leading him to sin and Ethan maybe had to put his foot down when it came to that.
That would definitely be a reason I could see him cutting off all contact with Kim and Barry for, because they need to understand that there are no scapegoats and that everyone is responsible for their own decisions. But then again that’s just speculation, we’ll see next week. Stay tuned!!!
