British Royal Family News find that while Prince William and Kate Middleton thought they were doing the world a favor by going on a pandemic train tour through the UK to thank frontline workers, many people are saying “no thank you” in return.

In fact, many British columnists and media personalities are once again pointing out the hypocrisy of the royals, as Prince William and Kate Middleton’s tour was apparently not only a waste of tax payer money, but completely useless, too.

If that weren’t enough, the Duke of Cambridge was caught on video mocking the pandemic during a visit to Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse in Ireland back in March. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal Family News: The British Media Is Still Reminding Everyone That Prince William Joked About Spreading Covid-19 Back In March

A few weeks before he “struggled to breathe” with his own battle with Covid-19, Prince William poked fun at the matter while speaking to first responders during a royal engagement in Ireland. “I bet everyone’s like, ‘I’ve got coronavirus, I’m dying,’ and you’re like, ‘No, you’ve just got a cough,’” the Duke of Cambridge quipped to first responder Joe Mooney, according to video footage of their exchange. He added: “It does seem quite dramatic about coronavirus at the moment. Is it being a little hyped up, do you think, by the media?”

That wasn’t the only thing that was said. In another video clip, the future King of England was also heard saying, “By the way, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spreading coronavirus. Sorry!”

During his battle with the virus, Prince Charles’ son was treated by palace doctors and was isolated away from his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children while at their home in Amner Hall. One source told Britain’s The Sun that William was hit pretty hard by the virus.

“At one stage he was struggling to breathe, so obviously everyone around him was pretty panicked,” the source said. “After seeing medics and testing positive — which was obviously quite a shock given how fit and healthy he is — William was determined it should be business as usual though.”

The insider further explained, “He felt there were more important things going on in the country. But as a result of his own experiences, he realizes absolutely anyone can catch this awful disease — and knows how imperative it is that we all take this second lockdown seriously.”
