Just recently, 90 Day: The Single Life cast member, Debbie Johnson has had to defend her new boyfriend’s tattoos. She started dating a man named Tony and it looks as if he has some pretty interesting tattoos. In fact, after fans of the show did some digging, they found that there are some that are racist.
On Debbie’s Instagram account, which the post has been deleted, she is seen defending Tony’s tattoos. One Redditor shared it on the site and her comments are pretty shocking.
90 Day: The Single Life – Debbie Johnson Defends Tony
She shared a picture of Tony’s back tattoos and then wrote, “Hello, it’s not a white supremacy tattoo. It’s a Croatian flag. The Nazi’s were removed from there back during WW2. His family is from there and it’s an absolute gorgeous country. Tony is the least racist person I know.” Debbie then told that follower that she needed to look up the flag and she would see the difference.
The comments didn’t stop there. Debbie went on to say, “Please like to start s**t. He s not a radical or anything like that. He loves the country. It’s beautiful and the Nazis were removed from that country decades ago.” She then went at one of her followers telling them, “And you are as stupid as you look. I mean, you are just plain ignorant. Spreading lies is a way for you to get attention. By the way, it’s a flag, not a Nazi marching song. Go back to school.”
According to Wikipedia, the translation of his tattoo, which read, “Evo zore, evo dana” means “Here comes the dawn, here comes the day.” “The name refers to the time between dawn and the day where the Black Legion surprised both forces with a counter-attack that drove them out of Kupres.”
Of course, Redditors had a lot to say about her attacking her followers. One wrote, “My theory is that’s what he told her and she’s just regurgitating it. He seems smart enough to know the true meaning.” Others mentioned that they live in Croatia and the flag’s color has to start a certain way or it has a completely different meaning.
Another wrote, “As soon as the line “least racist person I know” comes into play I know it’s all lies after that. That implies that you know a lot of racist people and this one person just happens to be the least racist out of all them…” One more added, “He should address this if he hasn’t already. Debbie shouldn’t be doing this comment moderating for him.”
We will have to wait and see if Tony does address this, but for now, keep watching 90 Day: The Single Life.
