’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Spoilers finds that there have been an uptick in COVID cases in India already, and we were all wondering about Jenny and Sumit, because Jenny is in the age bracket of it being fatal, and Sumit is a diabetic, which means that it could prove fatal for him as well.
Last year during filming these two did pretty well during quarantine and didn’t contract the virus, but this year, 2021, something went wrong. Both Jenny and Sumit have tested positive for COVID-19.

Catching COVID is no joke, even when you’re not in a foriegn country. But the reports lately is that India’s hospitals are overwhelmed with the amount of patients. AS fans we’re personally invested in Jenny and Sumit’s story, so of course the headlines would naturally bring to mind someone that we already care about – they’re sort of like that couple that you’re distant friends with now.
(Even if you may not get or agree with all of their decisions, you know they exist and you care.) Since they are both in very precarious demographics, we hope that they both survive this pandemic, no one actually wants anything to happen to them.
Well, at least 99% of the world’s population don’t wish any ill will on them, I’m pretty sure that Sumit’s parents, specifically his Mom, would not mind if Jenny wasn’t on the radar anymore. She was pretty nasty to Jenny because Jenny is in her 60’s, Sumit is in his 30’s, and it seems that Mom just can’t come to grips with the fact that her son is a grown man capable of making his own decisions.
(“There is no law above Mom and Dad.” was an actual quote from them during filming. Excuse me while I roll my eyes so hard it hurts.)
Alternately, if something happens to Sumit, if I were Jenny I’d run all the way back to the US because Sumit’s Mom will definitely be gunning for her – even if Jenny didn’t directly influence the outcome, it’s pretty clear to see that if anything happened to Sumit, former friend or not, that Sumit’s Mom would automatically blame her.
What a mess! Though, fortunately, this is all just speculation. We’re hoping that family relations are a bit less strained now, and that both Jenny and Sumit have a speedy recovery. Stay tuned!!!
