’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Yara Zaya Dufren was recently interviewed by Fox News concerning the Russian invasion of Ukraine and said that while her Mom is safe and lives in the Western part of Ukraine, her friend lives in Kyiv and cannot escape.

She said that around 10 PM New Orleans time, her friend called her and said that “This is happening. I just heard the explosion.” and Yara even offered her Mom’s house as a safe haven for her friend to go to, which her friend would have more than willingly done…

Yara said that only some of her friends have enough food and water to last them, but that no one was expecting this and everything over there has been ransacked. When asked if her friends or family could come and live with her, Yara said that it was virtually impossible, even before now, because of the embassy closings due to the pandemic, but now it would be even more impossible.

She did say that originally her Mom had plans to come and be with her, but that those plans got changed by the pandemic. As for her friends, Yara can only do so much. She can’t make the embassy open and she can’t make them take a refugee that isn’t technically her own family.

Also, her friend has a son who is almost 18 and she’s afraid that they’re going to make them stay because of his age and make him fight in this war. Yara said that, “There may be some kids who are strong and can fight, but he’s a kid.” and indeed he is.

No one is ever fully prepared for a war, but this just sounds like a bad situation all the way around. Yara sounds completely heartbroken, and who wouldn’t be? Learning that your home had just been invaded? Our hearts are with the people of Ukraine, and hope that everyone finds a way out of this soon. Stay tuned!!!
