There has been a lot of speculation about their relationship ever since fans watched them on the show. Nicole fell in love with Mahmoud quickly upon first meeting him. She was at a fabric store when he approached her and told her that they should get married.
Of course, she was shocked by this at first, but they ended up tying the knot. Nicole converted to Islam and has been thinking about this decision for quite some time.
She feels as if this was not something she should have done. About 11 months into their marriage, she went back to the United States and told Mahmoud that she felt they needed a divorce.
As she got back into her life in Los Angeles, she started to miss him a lot and realized that she does still love him. She ended up moving back to Egypt and that is where fans saw their story on the show begin.
Of course, the same issues are coming up and Nicole knew that she had to get out of the country and get back to her home. It turns out that Mahmoud is back with Nicole and they are in Los Angeles.
In a recent video that was captured by an eagle-eyed fan, Nicole was at the Los Angeles International Airport with a sign for Mahmoud. She ran to him and gave him a huge hug. The sign that she had with her read, “Welcome home, Mahmoud. My love.”
It is unclear if they are filming a new season of the show, but fans can watch one more episode of the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All on TLC on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
