’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that we first met Caleb Greenwood, he seemed like your typical outdoor health nut who had happened to fall for a really beautiful Russian girl, at least on the surface. What we didn’t know is that Alina Kasha, has been Caleb’s friend for over 13 years but just recently is when the two began to really fall for each other.
The only thing is, aside from being from different countries and cultures, there seems to be about a four foot height difference between them as well. Alina, it seems, has a form of dwarfism called Diastrophic Displaysia.

It can only be passed down if both parents are carriers of the gene, according to Alina. While one would think that this would get in the way of Alina living life a great deal, surprisingly, it doesn’t.
Alina performs burlesque and has her own band comprised of two roomates that she lives with, so, kudos to Alina for managing to live a completely independent life – although from the way her parents treat her one wonders if they think that’s the best thing sometimes.
They certainly didn’t seem all that on-board for Alina going to Turkey to meet up with Caleb – though that seems to be just a thing her parents do, she said that she has a sister who is average height and they treat her the same way. Ah, parents!
But apparently this is not the first time that Alina has met with heartbreak, she said that there was a guy before Caleb, from South Africa, that came to visit her in Russia and after initially meeting her for the first time he all but ghosted her, saying that he was constantly busy, Alina took the hint, but said it took her a long time to recover from the initial rejection and now there’s a 13 year old friendship on the line with her and Caleb.
It’s not wrong to not want to ruin one’s friendship with a relationship, but you never know if you don’t take the chance, we suppose. There is also the fact that Alina doesn’t want Caleb to get in over his head because she is physically disabled and doesn’t want to overwhelm him with having to help her, but Caleb is hopeful… we’ll see.
