’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that, after a decade of being together, the love-at-first catfish couple, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh have tied the knot, although no thanks to Sumit dragging his feet.
See, this simple ceremony could have happened last year when Jenny was so distraught, and instead of having several knock-down, drag-out brawls with his folks, Sumit could have already done this – as soon as the divorce was finalized, but nope! He made Jenny wait another year to be married to him all because Sumit couldn’t get over the fact that he wanted his parent’s approval.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Sumit Singh Finally Bites The Bullet And Ties The Knot With Fiancé Jenny Slatten
After talking with the family astrologer, Sumit’s parents were more open to the marriage thing (which made us wonder where on earth this guy was last year) and after the astrologer told them that it was already written in the stars and no one could change it, they settled on a deal that basically told Sumit that while they wouldn’t stop his wedding, they would not support it.
However Sumit’s Mom, Sadhna, seemed to almost accept Jenny when she told her that, even extending a big hug to her. Even though they had basically gotten his family’s approval, Sumit blocked the marriage, this time because he said he was scared the Jenny would change overnight and become controlling.
It took his friend and finally going to see his nephew at a family event that Jenny wasn’t invited to, to make Sumit realize that he was just being selfish and that he needed to man up and get the marriage done, or else Jenny’s visa was going to run out and she would have to return to the US for good, there were no more extensions.
So finally, Sumit filed for the wedding again, and then it was all systems go. Finally Jenny got to be a bride, finally she got to be happy! Of course, that wasn’t without a shadow hanging over it. Sumit and Jenny decided not to tell his parents, Sadhna and Anel about the wedding.
Even so, Sumit seemed happier without telling them because he even said that if they had been invited and shown up to the wedding that he was afraid that they were going to go back on their word and prevent the wedding from happening – now that cannot happen because they are already married.
There was no family or friends invited, but Sumit said that he had already had a wedding with over 5,000 people one time and that was enough for him. He preferred this wedding because this wedding was to someone that he truly loved.
Next week we get to witness Sumit and Jenny tell his family on the tell-all about getting married… we’re not sure whether to prepare tissues or first-aid kits. Stay tuned!!!
