’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that Rebecca Parrot has pulled a lot of strings in order to get married to her Tunisian fiancé, Zied Hakimi, before the month of Ramadan begins. Zied made a big stink about it, saying that he couldn’t live in the same house as Rebecca during Ramadan while they weren’t married.
Rebecca accused him of just being a strict Muslim one month out of the year and – well, if the shoe fits, I guess. Either way, she wanted to have a lot more time to get married because there was a lot of things she wanted to do, like make the wedding cake and locate her engagement ring (it has mysteriously gone missing!), she also wanted to be able to invite her family and friends, but due to Coronavirus it looks like that won’t be happening.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Melanie to the rescue?
At least with the exception of one friend, and that is her resident slightly xenophobic Karen friend, Melanie. Yes, the same Melanie who basically accused Zied of being lazy and not wanting to work when the whole problem was that he could not legally work due to not being married to Rebecca yet.
Yes, that Melanie, when it came down to it Melanie was the one who could help out with the dress, which doesn’t fit by the way. Well, it fits but it does not zip in the back, so Rebecca has decided to put a white corset over it, which is not really something she wanted to do, but there’s no time to make any alterations, there’s no time to do anything.
She told Zied that all of this was not normal, and if you’re looking at it from a US standpoint, it’s not. Usually couples have a lot longer to get married and they don’t feel this kind of pressure on them, even if they are international couples, even those of mixed religions.
Melanie’s trying to be a good friend, she said that there was no way she was going to miss Rebecca’s wedding. Rebecca was visibly upset, but Melanie was trying to be supportive, telling her that she didn’t get the wedding she wanted, but that she was getting the man that she wanted, and she should be happy with that, only, it wasn’t really making Rebecca feel any better.
Too little, too late, Melanie, but right now it looks like she’s all Rebecca has who’s even remotely on her side. Stay tuned!!!
