It looks like Jibri and Miona Bell are on their way to Joshua Tree National Park to get married after being unceremoniously kicked out by Jibri’s family. Obviously, Jibri is having problems with this because he wanted his family there at the wedding, but 90 days is not long enough to plan the kind of wedding that Jibri and Miona actually wanted, and it wasn’t enough time to convince Mom and Dad that their relationship was real and that Jibri was actually with the woman of his dreams and wanted to get married.
With Jibri’s parents, they seem to think that this wedding is a waste of time and that Jibri should be focusing on other things besides Miona and getting married.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Jibri And Miona Bell On Their Way To Get Married
Yes, he could be focused on finding them a house and getting a better job, but his parents have not actively stated what they want aside from the fact that they want Jibri and Miona out of their house.
It seems like it doesn’t matter what or how that happens, just as long as they’re not in their presence anymore and Jibri’s Mom isn’t threatened by Miona’s presence in front of her husband. Honestly, though, Miona did not seem to impress Jibri’s Dad at all and it doesn’t seem like he wants her, or really anyone, as a daughter-in-law at this point.
It would seem that Jibri’s parents are afraid of these two getting married and then coming back to live with them permanently, they haven’t said as much but that is definitely the vibe that we get. This would explain why they’re treating their grown son like he’s 15 years old and giving him “my house, my rules” sort of ultimatums with his fiancé instead of realizing that their son is growing up and does want to get married.
We don’t really get the vibe that Jibri’s plan was to stay with his parents for the duration, but we do get that moving out this soon wasn’t what Jibri wanted at all. At least his Mom gets to be comfortable now.
But can we just have a moment to remember Jibri’s Grandma? Who actively wanted to be there for their wedding and even offered to officiate the ceremony? It seems like no one on Jibri’s side of the family took what she wanted into account at all. At least she was supportive, and that’s a good memory for us in the fandom. Stay tuned!!!
