90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 days finds that Stepanka “Stephanie” Matto’s fiance has been oddly absent from the show in spite of Stephanie doing all this gearing up to actually go to Australia and meet her. So far we’ve only seen Steph’s journey and Steph’s journey alone. Which is kind of interesting because she isn’t out to her family yet and it looks like there’s no guarantee that her Mother will actually be accepting of her bisexual lifestyle but right now there’s nothing doing on that end, so let’s focus on Erika Owens.
Erika didn’t even have to say that she loved living life ‘loudly’ because we could tell it from the moment we looked at her. She has pink and purple hair and has the non-traditional job of being a photographer. When we meet her she’s actually photographing Kangaroos at a Kangaroo sanctuary and it’s the most adorable thing ever. Is this going to make a fabulous potential video for Steph’s youtube channel? Yes, most definitely. Do these two have staying power as a couple? We shall see.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Before the 90 days – Finally, the elusive Erika shows her face!
A lot of people are saying that they’re in this for clout, the both of them, which arguably could be true. Maybe Erika is out to get more high-profile clients for her photography business. Maybe, but she seems pretty genuine to me. Stephanie… I’m honestly not so sure about, she’s done a lot of things for the clout over the years and I’m not too sure that going on Before the 90 days isn’t one of them, but then again, who am I to judge someone’s long distance connection? They could be soulmates.
The only thing I worry about is that Erika doesn’t seem to hide who she is, to anyone. That’s probably going to include Steph’s Mom and whoever else is in the picture whenever Erika returns the favor and comes to the US. Will she be able to handle Stephanie’s fear about coming out to her family, does she even know that Stephanie isn’t technically out yet? (Well, she is now.) I worry about her, because she does seem so genuine and so unafraid and so unabashed about her lifestyle, will she be able to handle the detractors? Because we stan someone that’s true to herself and we don’t want to see her get hurt… but we shall see what transpires, won’t we? Stay tuned!!!
