’90 Day Fiancé’ spoilers have found that a segment of its Discovery+ spin-off, ’90 Days Bares All’ was tough to watch when Armando learned that his mother has kept his engagement to Kenny a secret from his father.
Armando and Kenny are the first male gay couple to appear on the 90 Day franchise. While the couple and their loving relationship, documented on 90 Day Fiancé: the Other Way was instantly embraced by fans, the same could not be said about Armando’s family.

Viewers watched with baited-breath as Armando announced his engagement to his mother, Virginia, sister Deborah and family friends, however, his father, Armando Snr. who has taken issue to the fact that his son is gay, was not in attendance to hear the good news.
During Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Bares All Kenny and Armando and (in a separate location) Virginia and Deborah Zoomed with host Shaun Robinson to discuss what has happened since the camera stopped rolling.
As Armando had previously explained, being openly gay in Mexico is not as common-place as it is in America and there are still many prejudices against it. So, when host, Shaun asked Virginia how she felt about seeing her son and Kenneth “kiss for the first time,” it was nice to hear Virginia’s response. In Spanish she said, “Well, it was a surprise for me, but I’m used to it now that I know they live together.”
‘90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: However, the tone of the catch-up quickly changed.
When Shaun asked how Armando Snr. feels about his son’s engagement, Virginia revealed that she has not yet shared the happy news with her husband.
Deborah was visibly shocked to hear this news while Armando Jnr. got teary eyed and lamented “I wonder if she’s still afraid of things, if she still hasn’t fully come around.” He also admitted to being afraid to ask if his father knew about the impending nuptials or not.
Probing further about the wedding planning, Shaun presumed that both Armando and Kenny’s full families would receive an invite and wondered if Armando thinks his father will attend.
It was a long pause while Armando collected himself. He then revealed that he not only hoped his father would attend, but that Armando Snr would want to be in attendance on his son’s special day, to support him and support his relationship.
The fact that Armando wasn’t feeling confident that this would come to be tugged at viewers heart strings.
We hope Kenny and Armando keep us up to date as they do plan their wedding as there are many, many fans invested who do support Armando and Kenny and their beautiful relationship.
