From 90 Day Fiancé, Paola Mayfield has been trying to focus on her marriage and keeping it together. She and her husband, Russ Mayfield have been in therapy and trying to get their marriage back to where they want it. Paola has been very open about the work that she and Russ have been putting into their marriage.
The couple seems as if they have gotten much closer through the help of therapy and making changes in their marriage, but now Paola has some sad news about her mother.

Paola has been posting quite a bit lately about things with her and Russ. She is happy that they have worked things out and feels like a second chance is what they both needed to get their lives back in order. With her happiness and positive posts, Paola has also started adding some posts about her mother. These don’t seem as positive though.
90 Day Fiancé: Paola Mayfield’s Sad News
In Paola’s newest post on Twitter and Instagram, she wrote, “F**k Alzheimer.” Then she added a crying emoji. She posted some videos from the airport for her fans and what she said was pretty sad. She talked about how her mother had been staying with her family in the states and she was supposed to be there for at least a month. It looks like she couldn’t stay for a month and is going back to Columbia.
She told her fans, “This is something you don’t wish on anybody.” It looks as if her mother is ill and has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. This has hit Paola and her family pretty hard and she is incredibly upset about this.
Paola added, “I wanted to show her more, I wanted to do things with her, but she woke up this morning and decided to leave.” Paola’s fans were quick to start sharing their stories with her and how they have gotten through with their family members who also have Alzheimer’s.
By her fans reaching out to her, it seemed to help her quite a bit. They sent a lot of kind and caring messages to her and hopefully this really did help her through it all. Our hearts, thoughts, and love go out to Paola during this tough time. It is difficult to go through illnesses with family members and we can only imagine how hard this is for her right now.
