On 90 Day Fiancé, Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou had quite the strange relationship. Azan, who lived in Morocco, never really seemed to like being with Nicole, the Florida native. What really shocked fans was the fact that she flew all the way to Morocco when the pandemic broke because the plane tickets were cheap.
She has been criticized by her fans for leaving her daughter for months, but felt that she needed to go spend time with the love of her life. A few months after she got back to the states, it looked as if they broke up when she changed her bio on Instagram. Now Nicole is speaking out about what happened with her and Azan.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Confirming the Split
Nicole took to social media to explain to her fans what happened. She told them, “Azan and I have decided to go our separate ways. We had much love and respect for each other, but we weren’t without our faults. Unfortunately, we can no longer continue our journey together. This may be a shock to many because we stayed strong for so long through it all. But as we move forward and heal, we ask that you respect both parties and not constantly as about it. Thank you to everyone who has supported us together and continue to support is as separate individuals. Azan is a good person and deserves to be happy as much as I do. We ended on good terms and I wish him the best.”
Azan and Nicole were on the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé and they met on an online dating app. They fell in love and started dating. The couple tried time and time again to get married, but it just seemed the universe had other plans for them. They tried to make their relationship work, but it seems that they are just too different and things clearly were not working out for them.
There have been other 90 Day Fiancé cast members who called Nicole out on the way she is. One of them was David Toborowsky, who spoke out about her last year. He said, “I’m not a fan of the way she does things. I wish her the best of luck. I don’t know what his story really is. I mean, I’ve heard rumors that he might be married with three kids with his cousin.”
