Back on the Discovery+ show, Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, A 90 Day Story, we were first introduced to Martine Fortune and Steven Blackett. The couple had been dating for three years and they had some struggles being a long-distance couple.
Martine has lost her trust in Steven because she found some naked pictures of another woman on his phone. This was right after they started dating and she was very confused why he had these pictures.

The couple met when Martine went to Barbados on a cruise with her friends. She and Steven started dancing together and they had quite the intense chemistry. Martine took many trips to St. Thomas to visit him and see if she could make this work.

His lifestyle as a DJ was pretty tough for Martine to get over. He is an attractive man in the nightlife and she began to lose trust in him. They struggled a lot in their relationship and he did admit to cheating on her when they started dating.
The show followed Martine going to Barbados again and this time she wanted to really move forward with Steven in hopes that he would calm his life down and choose to be only with her. Of course, she still showed that she didn’t trust him and then he got a weird text that started them going at it again.
Their problems were still there and they really needed to work on them. Martine said, “I’ve been trying to move past his cheating for two years, but I honestly struggle with it. But I feel like it’s now time to forgive Steven. And actually forgive him. Or I have to get out of this relationship.”
As much as fans wanted to see them get engaged, they both said that they weren’t ready. They both know that they have trust issues and they want to be at a point where they are in the same country. On 90 Day Bares All, Steven told Shaun Robinson that they are still working things out. He wanted to move to Miami to live with Martine and be in a relationship with her there.
It looks as if the couple did get married on August 12, 2021. They got married in Florida and they are currently living wonderful life together. You can find them both on their Instagram accounts. They post pretty regularly and they enjoy sharing their story and their love for one another.
