The duo, who are from New Orleans and Ukraine respectively, welcomed their first child, Mylah, and have gone through many challenges since getting married, all the while being filmed.
However, they still face many difficulties, such as Jovi being away for work often and Yara feeling nostalgic for her home country, compounded by the war in Ukraine, which has been displayed in the ‘90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After’ franchise.
Jovi responded to questions posted by fans of the show on his Instagram over how he is feeling about the show. One of the questions was if he had any regrets about agreeing to appear on the show, making his life open to the critics.
He was steadfast in his answer, expressing that he was glad that he and Yara chose to be open about their relationship in a public forum. In his comments, he said: “I hope that sometimes people can relate to us.” Jovi and Yara have had a particularly difficult time on the show of late.
Yara has had to endure a great deal of loneliness since moving to America, and has also had to contend with the birth of her baby, a pandemic, and a war in her home country. Dufren has proposed the idea of having an additional baby as a means of keeping their relationship strong.
However, the idea of adding more responsibility may not be the wisest move. After all, Jovi is away frequently due to his job, leaving Yara alone in a place that is unfamiliar to her.
Having said that, Yara is able to gain something positive from the show, as it has provided her with an opportunity to promote her businesses through the 90 Day Fiancé platform.
