90 Day: The Last Resort star Jasmine Pineda was let go from her PR company due to alleged domestic violence rumors surrounding Matt Branis. Jasmine has been caught in a slew of rumors, scandals, and more rumors as of recent. One of the most prominent of these rumors is of Jasmine and her “best friend” Matt being together for a long time now. Most fans believe this rumor to be true despite a lack of confirmation, but recent domestic violence claims have sprung.
Recently, a rumor has been going around of Matt Branis having been physically violent against Jasmine. This also included claims of Matt being anti-LGBTQ+. This resulted in the fanbase spiraling for more information on Jasmine’s status on the issue. There wasn’t much evidence supporting the claims, but Jasmine’s PR company already made a statement against her.
Jasmine’s PR Company Lets Her Go
90 Day Fiancé blogger 90dayfiance_alexa posted a screenshot of Jasmine’s PR publicist’s statement on the rumors. According to the statement, the company does not want to associate with domestic violence or “any form of discrimination.” However, the claims of discrimination and violence fell on Matt’s shoulders. This statement confused many fans, and things only got messier and scarier for Jasmine.
Another post by the blogger shows more information including Jasmine being visibly distraught during a livestream. A Reddit user who elaborated on what Jasmine said live was screenshotted in the post. “It looks like she has a stalker…This person is trying to ruin her investments with protein powder and overall harassing her daily.” The stalker in question was allegedly sending gifts to Jasmine as a way to keep her from calling the police.
The alleged stalker created the rumors against Jasmine and Matt which caused the publicist to “double down.” The publicist claimed that she herself was a domestic abuse survivor which pushed her decision to let Jasmine go. However, Jasmine is the victim in this situation. “Saying she’s a survivor of violence herself makes the whole thing more disgusting. How do you turn your back on someone like that?” Captioned the blogger.

Jasmine commented on both of 90dayfiance_alexa’s posts. The most revealing comment was in the first post revealing the publicist’s statement. “The person in question [Matt] has never ever done any kind of harm/abuse to me in any shape or form. It just disgusts me how someone will use such a sensitive topic to create traffic to their company…” Jasmine denies the rumors against Matt and further speaks about the publicist using the information against her.
What Jasmine’s Comments and the Publicist’s Statment Mean
Jasmine denies the rumors against Matt and herself. Even if the rumors were true, Jasmine would have been the victim in the situation. For the publicist to turn their back on Jasmine due to this is incredibly alarming. When it comes to the stalking situation, it’s unknown as to how everything will turn out. The most we can do is hope the best for Jasmine and her safety.
