Sumit’s Singh’s father has given his seal of approval when it comes to his relationship with Jenny Slatten.

This is some major progress to say the least given how far the pair have come. Sumit’s father had initially given him an ultimatum. If he ever wanted to get back in the good book of his family, Sumit would have to divorce Jenny. Despite overcoming that hurdle, it appears that Sumit’s mother still has yet to be convinced.
In his comments, Sumit’s father said: “There was a time when my wife was not talking to Sumit. She don’t want to see his face. But, the time has changed. Now, she is talking to him very gently, and very sweetly.”
As of now, Jenny does not get invited to any family gatherings, leaving Sumit to attend them alone. This has been seen by the fact that Sumit’s mother does not attend them if Jenny were ever to be there. But that is just one of the hurdles that need to be overcome.
Given that Sumit’s family has yet to embrace Jenny, she has made it clear that moving to America could be an option. After all, Jenny’s family has already approved of her relationship with Sumit. And yet, it seems the latter is not ready to take that next step.
The following comments confirmed as much: “You should come to America and see my family and my culture, too.’ I’m okay with that, I can come for some time — but just for a visit,” to which Sumit replied: “Not permanently.”
The fans on social media were very critical of Sumit’s mother. This was on the grounds that she was not helping to ease the tensions that were emerging. One person wrote: “I’m waiting for the horns to start popping out of this woman’s head.”
