Even though they were still married, Angela’s suspicions about his faithfulness were apparent. At the conclusion of the episode, Angela declared her intent to file for a divorce, but she left room for potential reconciliation.
In her comments, she said: “Right now, divorce is definitely on the table. I’m definitely gonna file. That doesn’t mean I’m gonna sign.” The issues between Michael and Angela began during the tell-all show when Angela revealed Michael’s infidelity.
After being shown a romantic voice note that he sent to another woman, Angela stated that Michael had sent the intimate message while he was in her bed. She was very upset, then left the set after speaking about the situation and responding “no” when asked if she would ever believe in her spouse again.
But this was not the only issue for Angela. The producers also stated that Michael was back on social media, even though he stated it was an “impersonator.” And that ultimately took its toll, as it became clear that Angela had been through enough.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I’m mentally exhausted and I’m very hurt. With Michael’s lying and all, and all the stuff I just found out, I don’t think he’s ever loved me. I think he loves me ’cause everything I’ve done for him, but he can’t tell me why he’s in love with me.”
The fans on social media made their position very clear. A significant proportion of the fan base were of the view that it was better for both sides to move on and go their separate ways. One person wrote: “Surprised People would run this vile, abusive woman! Michael deserves to be free from this woman.”
