We heard a few months ago that 90 Day Fiancé couple, Evelyn Cormier and David Vasquez had split up. There were plenty of rumors about the couple having a tough marriage and some even said that he was abusive. Evelyn let her fans know that she wanted to find some new ways to make herself happy and that has been her focus for the last few months.
Evelyn loves to fill her fans in on what she has been up to and now that she is single, she wanted to reach out to them and explain the ways that she has found happiness once again. She told her fans, “I’m coping with my decision to divorce David by focusing on myself and getting healthy.
90 Day Fiancé: Evelyn Cormier Gives Update
Everyone in my circle has been so understanding… my fans, my church, and my family and friends. I’ve been volunteering at a local horse rescue, which has been incredible, there is a lot to learn. Working with horses is so therapeutic to me, and my dream is to one day have horses of my own. I’ve also been helping my parents restore their 1790s colonial home.”
She went on to tell fans ,”It’s so important to stay busy during the healing process, while I have been doing for sure. I’ve written several novels over the past four years, and I’m currently querying a Historical Fiction Romance loosely inspired by my hometown.
The divorce was pretty public and Evelyn even told her fans, “I’ve endured mental and emotional abuse because of a passionless, useless, and narcissistic relationship.” Of course, David has denied anything that she has said that puts him in a negative light.
The couple was married for four years and they had their share of ups and downs. Because of Evelyn’s passion for her music, they moved from New Hampshire to Los Angeles. They both felt that they would have more opportunities there.
Evelyn seems to be doing just great now that David is out of her life. David has yet to make any statements about the divorce and it does seem as if he wants to keep his mouth shut. Evelyn continues to post on her Instagram account and reach out to her fans.
If you miss seeing them on the show, you can tune into 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on TLC. It airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. EST on TLC and on Discovery+.
