On 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, we were first introduced to Ella Johnson. Ella had met a man online, Johnny Chao and she fell in love very quickly. He is a single father and they wanted to see one another, but the pandemic was still everywhere and Johnny was worried about keeping his family safe and healthy.
Ella wanted nothing more than to see him face to face and she told him that if he couldn’t come to see her, then she would seek an open relationship. From what we saw on the show, these two barely had anything in common and they had a lot of cultural differences. No matter how much Ella said she loved Asian culture, it really did seem that she was looking for more of a fantasy than a reality.

When Ella thought Johnny was coming to see her, she started to exercise more and lose weight. She wanted Johnny to think that she was thinner than she was when they did video chats. From the Tell-All episode, we also learned that Johnny actually never came to see her. She had been struggling with her weight and other health issues and she opened up more about how she has had weight issues since she was a child.

She mentioned that relationships have been horrible for her and she has been treated terribly in the past. When Johnny gave her positive attention, she was very excited and this did motivate her to lose weight. Her main goal was to lose 20 pounds before he came to the states.
In a recent update, Ella wanted to share with her fans what had been going on in her life these days. She told her fans that she wanted to update them on her fitness journey. She said that there was a lot of confusion about her and Johnny these days. She told fans that she is no longer dating Johnny and then mentioned that some fans thought that they faked this relationship all along.
She said that everything was real and she is heartbroken about it. Johnny still wants to come to America to visit her and she has really started to focus more on herself. She has lost 25 pounds since she began this weight loss journey and she is very happy about it.
Ella’s fans told her, “I’m sad that you two aren’t seeing each other anymore, but glad that you decided to do what’s best for you!” We are so happy that Ella is getting everything under control in her life these days.
