Just recently, Elizabeth Castravet, from 90 Day Fiancé, had to deal with some homophobic remarks that came from her mother. Her mother posted on Instagram that rainbows were a blessing from God and not a sign of pride.
Of course, those who watch 90 Day Fiancé, who support the LGBTQ community were angered by this. Libby has now taken the time to react to what her mother said and some fans are unsure of just how to react.
90 Day Fiancé: Libby’s Response
We haven’t seen a lot of Libby’s mother on 90 Day Fiancé, but she has been vocal about her feelings about political issues and now it is LIbby’s turn to share with her fans about her mom’s thoughts.
Reddit users were quick to share the video of Libby making a statement to her fans about her mother’s words. One user was concerned that Libby had mentioned how she didn’t want to be canceled because of the words her mother chose on social media.

There were others who pointed out that Libby does not share the same opinion with her mother about the LGBTQ community.
One Reddit user wrote, “Nah, as s****y as she is, she’s not responsible for her family member’s ignorance. It would be far worse if she stood by and said nothing. She’s an a*****e for a hundred reasons but this isn’t one of them.”
One more posted, “I’m no fan of Libby at all, but I agree. My mom humiliates me on the regular with her posts. I would hate the thought of someone judging me based on whatever conspiracy theory she’s sharing today.”
One more chimed in, “I don’t know about y’all but I would hate to be judge for my family member’s views. I can’t hate on her for clearing things up.”
It takes a lot to be in the spotlight of reality televisions and now Libby has to deal with the actions and words of her mother. We hope that she can continue to stand up for her own thoughts and that her fans don’t judge her based on what happens with her family members. This has got to be a sticky situation.
