Caleb Greenwood and Alina Kozhevnikova were slowly becoming a fan favorite couple on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. We were all shocked when TLC fired her for some of the posts on social media from her past. The posts were incredibly racist and the network did not want her on it if this is what fans were going to see.

Alina first told fans that she was hacked and the posts were photoshopped. Then she told fans that she wasn’t aware that the posts were racist since she is from Russia and doesn’t really know the history of the N-word and such.

Of course, there are fans who believed her and some who did not. Nevertheless, this cut Caleb‘s time short on the show and although he is always posting on Instagram, his fans really wanted to see more of him.
Caleb has been asked many times about Alina’s posts and he has kept a great attitude through all of this. Now it looks like he is ready to speak up about what happened.
Recently, Caleb appeared on the Sarah Fraser Show and she went straight in to ask him about the racist posts. She asked him if he ever felt like she was racist or was this a complete surprise to him. He told Sarah that he never witnessed any racism from her and that her posts were from “a while back.” He hinted that people do and can change.
Caleb said, “I never witnessed that in her and those posts were from a while back. I’ve only seen her be a very generous and loving person to everyone and she doesn’t think that way in any terms of racism. She really is someone who is all about equality, herself being disabled. They took me by surprise and I was like ‘where did these come from? How did I miss this?’ Then I looked back and many of them are from a decade ago.”
It is nice that Caleb can now answer this question in the best way that he knows how. It is clear that he is on Alina’s side and that he has her back. We are happy to hear that he still has faith in her as a person and a friend.
