General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dante is coming back to Port Charles. But what fans want to know is, how long will he be sticking around? Luckily, actor Dominic Zamprogna has some answers. The handsome actor recently opened up about his comeback in an interview with actors Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson on their podcast.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dominic Zamprogna Teases His Return To Port Charles
Apparently, Dominic was only looking to come back for a few episodes, but it looks like he’ll be sticking around for much longer. General Hospital producers are keeping Dominic on schedule for a 10-episode contract. This means that fans will get to find out more about Dante’s secret mission. Yet, Dominic thinks that the show’s writers don’t want him back full-time, but rather for little stints here and there.

“I don’t’ think they secretly want me back,” Zamprogna joked to his co-stars. “I think they just want me back for little two-week adventures.”
That’s when his co-star Steve Burton told him what we are all thinking: that’s not true! Everyone loves Dante and his on screen interactions with his wife, Lulu. As a matter of fact, many people have made it clear that they sure missed seeing him on the show!
Burton then told him, “I don’t want you to go. Because I love you and honestly, I think you’re a fantastic actor and the more we have the better off we are. You’re an asset to the show. And I know you didn’t feel like that all the time, but that being said…”
Zamprogna interrupted to insist: “I do right now. I feel like it’s kind of the way it was back in the old days, being back this little stint.”
Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen for Dante next! General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
