Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are snubbed on the official Buckingham Palace website, as their profiles and those of disgraced Prince Andrew have diminished.
The Profiles of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Now Much Less Dignified
Even though Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in January 2020, their 4,000-word profiles remained on the official royal family website.
Their profiles say that the couple walked away from their royal duties. It is a much less dignified profile to view, as they are royally shunned.
Prince Andrew’s profile is significantly reduced as well. In his profile, it mentions that he stepped down because of his association with known sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Another lowlight on Andrew’s profile is that he was divested of his military titles and royal patronages. Harry’s original profile said that Harry is fifth in the line of succession.
The Duke of Sussex originally had details of his life, achievements, and military career. Now, it has been made to fit not much more than the sleeve of a book.
There was also a section of Harry’s bio that included his time as a working royal and what he had accomplished, which is now omitted almost entirely.
A small paragraph was put in its place saying,
“The duke carried out a number of overseas visits, including the Realm and Commonwealth nations on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II. He also represented the UK’s interests overseas at the request of the government. His official duties saw him visit all seven continents.”
They also note that he is the younger son of Princess Diana and the founder of the Invictus Games.
Buckingham Palace Provided a Link to Sussex.com
Meghan’s separate bio was shortened. It highlighted her career as an actress on “Suits,” playing legal eagle Rachel Zane. The site talked about her lifestyle website, “The Tig,” and the charities she supported as a working royal, including several women’s charities and the UK animal charity, Mayhew.
It was suggested that the royal family finally updated their website after the death of Queen Elizabeth. However, there are hints that it may have been partly due to Harry and Meghan starting their website, Sussex.com.
However, Buckingham Palace was generous enough to provide a link to Harry and Meghan’s new website. Palace sources claim this isn’t a snub but an update that they have wanted to make since the Queen’s untimely death.
The Susexes website has been the source of significant controversy since its launch in February. It is thought that Harry and Meghan are trying to use the royal family for their commercial gain.
Queen Elizabeth was very much against the couple using the monarchy for publicity and to make money. Phil Dampier, who wrote a book about Harry and Meghan’s love story in 2018, explained,
“It’s hard to believe that Harry and Meghan would have used their titles for commercial gain so blatantly if the Queen were still alive. Now that she is no longer with us, they sense a weakness and are exploiting it.”
Harry and Meghan’s hypocrisy is astounding. They talk trash about the royal family but are quick to throw around those royal titles when it suits them.
