Inquest Reveals Thomas Kingston, Lady Gabriella’s Husband, Died From Catastrophic Head Injury And Was Found with a Gun By His Side

An inquest has revealed that Thomas Kingston died from a devastating injury to his head. The injury is believed to be from the gun found next to Kingston’s body.

Kingston Apparently Died By Suicide on Sunday

Kingston apparently committed suicide, as his father found him with a gun by his side. It started as any other pleasant, typical day. He had lunch with his parents, and then his father took their dogs for a walk.

The day ended in tragedy as his father had to force entry into a locked room when Kingston did not respond. Authorities found Thomas deceased with a catastrophic head injury.

Prince Michael, Lady Gabreilla’s father, was the first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, and her grandfather, George VI, was the brother of Queen Elizabeth’s father.

Kingston and Lady Gabriella were married in May 2019. It was almost a full year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were wed in May 2018. Kingston and Gabriella had been married for nearly five years.

A statement was provided on behalf of the family, saying,

“It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son, and brother. Tom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family, and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing.”

While it is difficult to believe that a man of great faith, such as Thomas Kingston, would kill himself, even very spiritual and religious people have their fair share of personal issues that can build up and become insurmountable.

Thomas Kingston May Have Had PTSD After His Time in Iraq

Mental health issues do not discriminate from the higher classes. Rich or poor, anyone can suffer from them. People suspected that Thomas may have suffered from PTSD. Kingston was in Iraq for three years and came home to become a financier.

Kingston was a hostage negotiator who survived a suicide bombing. He functioned in the diplomatic jobs section of the Foreign Labor force of Baghdad, and there were several instances in which he could have been killed.

Even after coming home and resuming his life in the world of business and then his marriage to his wife, Gabriella, his experiences may have triggered flashbacks that he didn’t know how to handle.

He may have had PTSD and didn’t know how to ask for help. It’s a speculation, but it’s also a possibility. Being a man of significant faith, Kingston developed a bond with a man named Reverend Canon Andrew White. He had the only Anglican church in Iraq.

Kingston helped Reverand Canon Andrew build up his church as he prayed with these people and baptized them. The church eventually built up over 6,000 parishioners.

The Reverand recently talked about the kind of man Kingston was,

“Kingston was an exceptional young man who makes things happen. His great strength was to see beyond the impossible.”

Kingston could have used that great strength and leaned on his faith before he killed himself. Suicide is devastating to so many families who have been through a loved one’s demise. Our prayers are with Gabriella and their family.
