‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers inform us that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has told his lady love, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), that there is no way he can come back to Port Charles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dex Was Supposed to Disappear
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) made it very clear that Dex had to disappear and was never to reappear, or he was risking his life.
However, Joss finds Dex, and she’s unwilling to let him go. She’s never loved anyone the way she loves Dex, and he feels the same way.
Unfortunately, Dex knows that if he returns with Joss, he will likely end up in the Pine Barrens. However, he won’t make it out alive this time.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) told Joss she needed to bring Dex back and not take no for an answer. The girl has some hefty convincing to do because Dex told her it was really goodbye this time.
Sonny is short on allies, and Ava Jerome (Maura West) is the only person Sonny trusts right now. She went with him to meet with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to formulate a plan to trap the traitor who has been targeting them.
What if the traitor is someone that none of them would expect? Especially if the said traitor is presumed dead. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is the only one who knows the ins and outs of Sonny’s Island in Puerto Rico, but Jason is the perfect shot, and if he wanted to kill Sonny, he wouldn’t have missed.
The only plausible explanation is that someone is making him shoot at Sonny. Maybe they are threatening one of his kids, and Jason doesn’t have much choice.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: “Stone Cold” is Very Much Alive
That being said, some spoilers indicate that Jason could also be brainwashed, which would explain him turning against Sonny, but not why he missed the mark.
Dex and Joss could agree to come back to town but on one condition. They must find out who is taking aim at Sonny. The couple could do some digging, only to discover that Jason isn’t dead at all. Unfortunately, he is also the person behind these shootings.
They will need to go back to town immediately to warn Sonny that Jason is after him. Sonny won’t believe him at first, as he threatens to kill him again, but Dex will get the proof he needs to return and be in Sonny’s good graces again.
The other factor in this is the name “Stone,” as it carries significant meaning to Sonny, as it was the name of someone who was very special to Sonny, who unfortunately died of AIDS.
The word “stone” is also synonymous with “Stone Cold,” which was Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) affectionate nickname for Jason, also describing his cold and seemingly unfeeling demeanor.
Jason could very well be the one who is gunning for Sonny and his organization. Of course, there would need to be a good reason, but it’s a definite possibility.
Sonny needs someone who has his back. Dex could learn that Jason is the traitor. He can find the proof he needs to protect Sonny and, once again, earn his trust.
