There are few things more entertaining than a well written story, but lately ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have noticed a dip in quality since the old writers came back and it has us wondering if they’re using artificial intelligence to write their scripts.
Let’s face it, using AI to replace human creativity is the new cool thing. Instead of developing our skill to paint, draw, or even write we hand it over to a computer and it does the work for us to varying levels of success.
Even when publishing a book on amazon.com it asks if any part of your book was written by an AI. It is what it is, and that’s the crux.
Limiting AU is what the strikes were supposed to be about, and yet it opened the door for Hollywood in general to replace people with it.
As for ‘General Hospital”, it would explain the inconsistencies and really lazy writing we’ve seen as of late.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Lacking creativity
The show still has moments of fun where the heart of the scene comes out, but it’s hard to say if that’s the script or the actor’s ability.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers have mentioned the inconsistencies from time to time, but it’s the character shifts that really get us.
Like Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) handing Ace over to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) for ‘a better life’.
There is no way that’s defensible and Spencer isn’t that stupid, yet he did it and the show’s trying to rationalize it. Never mind he never would’ve done that to begin with.
Then there’s Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) becoming Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)’s lapdog and leading sycophant as he constantly forgoes his daughter for Carly’s sake.
We’d love to expect a fun, emotional storyline to come out of it but we have a feeling we’re going to be disappointed again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – It’s cheaper
There are way more examples of quirkiness that shouldn’t happen and we could be wrong and it’s simply the old writing team showing why the replacement writers were so much better.
Imagine if the replacement writers were AI. Just going to leave that rabbit hold right where it is.
The biggest thing when it comes to automation is cost. It was the backbone behind every automation in the job market in recorded history, and now AI’s the new fancy machine.
It’s cheaper, doesn’t demand breaks, and if done right can crank out a month’s worth of scripts in no time compared to people.
It also lacks the heart and special finesse people bring to our work and may strictly rely on cheep thrills to hide the lack of depth in a character or scene.
