Well, it looks like the writers are dangling a carrot in front of Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to help get him and GH off the hook in the malpractice lawsuit and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers aren’t sure how we feel about it.
In a way, it wasn’t surprising as that’s a typical soap opera move to create some drama, as if having someone’s livelihood dangling by a thread wasn’t bad enough.
And while the deceased patient did see a doctor before seeing Finn, does this mean they’re going to have the man’s family strictly out for money or don’t they know about said doctor?
That has some possibilities, but this feels way too fast and very forced and that’s got us rolling our eyes.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – One phone call?
This is what bothers ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers so much, and even though it’s reasonable, Elizabeth Weber (Rebecca Herbst) somehow solves the question on whether another doctor was involved in like five minutes?
Granted, speeding some things up are a good thing, especially when this show likes to drag them out beyond the breaking point for many of us, but was this needed?
As soon as Finn laid out the problems he’d face if they lost, he has an epiphany and Liz runs out and proves it. Now all they have to do is find the doctor and he’s home free, right?
Maybe not.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Using the doctor
This was way too rushed and easy, and that makes us think there’s going to be something more to it than Liz finding out the patient saw a doctor and they can go and see him.
One thing that comes to our mind is that the doctor could be tied to the family of the deceased somehow. Maybe he’s a friend, uncle, or something like that.
He couldn’t help, so the deceased went to the big city hospital and now his family wants the deep pockets. It flies in the face of all the claims that they’re grieving.
It also doesn’t make much sense since they’re supposed to be very wealthy, so maybe there’s more to it than that?
At this point, we’re expecting the matriarch of the family to have a personal problem with Finn, like she’s an old lover or friend.
The only thing we’re sure of is this is either the writers trying to end a storyline no one seems to care about quickly, or they’re trying to inject some drama into it because, as we said, few really seem to care.
