In a twist that could test a long standing friendship, ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers expect things to go sideways now that Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) has a face and name to go with the woman in his dreams.
Of course, it’s just a dream, but it could also be his memories as Ned Quartermaine slipping in here and there, like maybe when he saw Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) at a show he was playing at years earlier.
Plus, she’s Olivia’s friend so he probably met her at some point during their travels, so it’ll be easy enough to play it off and chalk his reaction to her to any number of things.
That may work for now, but when he realizes she’s his siren, things are going to take and awkward sideways turn.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: She’s trouble
This won’t come as a surprise to anyone that Eddie will view Lois as his siren, since that typically means she is dangerously beautiful, and given their history that would be pretty apt.
But there looks to me more to the story as he constantly talks about a siren in his song, and “General Hospital” Spoilers think that’s her, which means she’s going to share some muse space with Olivia.
We doubt that’ll lead to a rift between the friends at first, but Olivia knows their past and she’ll want to defend Ned, but since he thinks he’s Eddie there’s a chance for some more bigamy down the line.
It’s a stretch as Lois won’t want to risk her friendship with Olivia, but at the same time with Ned thinking he’s Eddie, will he act on it?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Making headway
It’s been fun to watch Eddie and Olivia connect in a fresh way that frightens Olivia. She doesn’t want to give up on Ned, but she can’t ignore the bond growing between her and Eddie.
That will be put to the test in the coming weeks as Eddie will feel himself pulled in two directions with the two women in his life, and with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) hanging around, we’re sure something that shouldn’t will happen.
Eddie will feel the need to defend Lois, and things could go from there since the heart wants what the heart wants.
Basically, we’re not sure what’s going to happen but we’re looking forward to seeing how they navigate this road with Ned’s memories locked away.
