Sloan manipulated a DNA test by swabbing her own cheek instead of Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan), thus preventing him from being involved in the search for paternity answers.
The show has dropped hints strongly suggesting that Eric is the biological father, such as Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) expressing that she would scream if her baby’s father didn’t walk through the door within five minutes, only for Eric to enter shortly after, seemingly confirming his paternity. The question now remains how and when the truth will be exposed.
Sloan is burdened by guilt because she knows her actions may prevent Eric from being involved in raising a child. As a result, she attempts to get pregnant herself and raise her own child with Eric.

If she loses the baby, Sloan might resort to faking the rest of the pregnancy out of desperation to maintain her connection with Eric.
Given the fact that Nicole is already carrying Eric’s child, it is unlikely that the show will give him another child with Sloan. Instead, Sloan’s push for pregnancy may serve as another path for manipulation, highlighting the extent to which she is willing to go to keep Eric tied to her.
The storyline could potentially take a darker turn, with Sloan even considering kidnapping a baby as a substitute, as her schemes become increasingly twisted. It is clear that Sloan is willing to sink to new lows to achieve her goals.
As the storyline unfolds, the truth about Eric’s paternity and Sloan’s manipulations will inevitably come to light, exposing the depths of her deceit.
