‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may be looking for some revenge if her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) ends up in jail.
She is absolutely committed to keeping her mother out from behind bars, but, as we know, Phyllis has done more than her fair share of crimes in the past few months.
Even if grandpa Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can find the EMT and force him to cooperate, it doesn’t guarantee that Phyllis will be able to walk free.
In fact, it may raise even more questions, to be honest. Phyllis will probably have to face the fact that she murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. What about faking her death and trying to pin it on an innocent woman?
Phyllis may, of course, eventually find a way to avoid that punishment, but jail time could very well be in her near future. If it occurs, Summer’s need for vengeance could take over. Perhaps Summer will rule that Diane must be imprisoned once more if Phyllis is to be locked away as well.

That is particularly true if Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decide to get a divorce since Summer would then have nothing left to lose. Summer can decide to conspire against Diane by blaming her for the beginning of all her issues.
Maybe Summer could construct a trap for Diane and trick her into committing a new crime – a genuine one this time that might land her in prison.
Summer, on the other hand, may begin digging into Diane’s background as Taylor Jensen and unearth some more hidden mysteries. Diane’s past is undoubtedly riddled with atrocities that have yet to be disclosed.
Summer may feel her grandfather can achieve anything after Victor receives information on EMT Carson’s location and returns him to town. Victor could have his staff reinvestigate Diane’s history to see if they can finally find anything to throw her away.
