‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that because of all the terrible decisions Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has made, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will continue to be enraged with her.
Phyllis persuaded Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) to believe she had left forever and subsequently pressured Summer to conceal information that has completely destroyed her life.
Nick has several reasons to strike out at Phyllis right now because Summer is concerned that her marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may be permanently gone.
But there’s a fine line between the two, especially on soap operas when intense feelings are present. Nick is obviously happy that Phyllis is still alive after everything.
Since Phyllis is the mother of his kid and a previous flame to whom he is still very devoted, a part of Nick will always adore her. The fact that Nick and Phyllis have a long history together could influence what happens next.
Given how difficult Nick’s own life has recently gotten, we also need to consider how much he has been through recently. Nick was concerned for Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) and Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) safety when he faced up against Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby).

Nick is also dealing with difficult news regarding the Newman family because Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) compelled him to take a leave of absence and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) dislikes him because of what happened with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Nick’s emotions are all over the place as a result of Sally’s baby loss as well.
Nick tries to stay strong for Sally, but a man can only take so much before he loses control. Nick is the perfect person to take advantage of the chance to let off some steam! The same is true for Phyllis, who has been anxious ever since she fled from the law.
Phyllis is skilled at meeting Genoa City residents in secret and going unnoticed. Fans of Y&R are aware that Phyllis has met in private with Summer, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei). If Nick ever has a covert meeting with Phyllis, that may be intriguing.
Keep in mind that sometimes the combination of rage and unrequited love can be passionate! In the upcoming episodes, Nick will want to support Summer, so that might entail setting up a meeting with Phyllis and encouraging her to come forward.
