‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may be entirely too optimistic about helping Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). His ideas for defending her and helping her have a life with all of this behind her seem a little far-fetched.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Surprise Visit
Just was Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) strips and gets ready to welcome his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman), to their rendezvous in their Athletic Club suite, who comes to the door but Phyllis?
Michael hasn’t seen Phyllis since the day she “died”. He has heard she is alive, but this is the first time to see her with his own eyes.
While Phyllis hurt Michael badly, he doesn’t seem to dwell there long or try to punish her. He admits that she is a very good friend to him and his wife.
He must have had some time to deal with the emotions of anger toward Phyllis for putting them through her ‘death’. She admits that she needs his help and wants to know what he can do for her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: False Optimism
Phyllis really wants to know if she can count on Michael to help her. He says he will and that she will be able to put all of this behind her. She will be able to come back and live normally in Genoa City.
This may be a little too optimistic. Phyllis is facing many charges and the wrath of the Genoa City D.A., Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell).
Michael says that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was a bad dude and probably left behind some damning evidence. But Stark was a professional criminal. If they haven’t found anything yet to exonerate Phyllis, it probably isn’t there.
He also talks about trying to learn more from EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) who help Stark get bodies from the morgue. Phyllis claims that Carson saw her fight with Stark, killing him self-defense. This however is not true. Are they really thinking of paying Carson to be a witness?
Michael promises that he can help Phyllis, but she has to turn herself in. She isn’t ready to do that yet and says she’ll think about what Michael says. However, he seems a bit too optimistic. What do you think? Can Michael really help or is Phyllis screwed?
