Bam Margera is on the right track after being discharged from a mental health facility and starting therapy at Lamar Odom’s rehab facility.
The former “Jackass” actor was discharged from a mental institution on Wednesday, according to sources with knowledge of the matter, and Lamar was there to welcome him out.
According to reports, Bam is currently undergoing detox at one of Lamar’s facilities before going to treatment at another facility run by the former NBA great.
Since many weeks ago, Lamar has insisted on assisting Bam, and on Tuesday, he even paid a visit to him in the hospital to offer him treatment at one of his Odom Wellness Treatment Centers.
Bam Margera Out Of Psychiatric Hospital Again, Headed To Lamar Odom’s Rehab
Bam’s little son, Phoenix, who he hasn’t been able to see much of amid his bouts with substance misuse, is undoubtedly what inspired him to quit using.
Bam was put on a 5150 mental hold over the weekend after police in Los Angeles tracked him to a Trejo’s Tacos restaurant. Bam’s vow to commit suicide if he couldn’t see his son raised questions about whether he was simply a risk to himself or to others as well.
Hopefully this is the moment that Bam actually gets the help he needs and he’s able to see his son again. It’s been a rough time for Bam and we’ve seen him run away from the hospital several times in the last few years, sneaking off to bars and relapsing.
The Gold Bridge Addiction Center in Louisburg, Kansas, Wavelengths in Huntington Beach, and Project West in San Diego are the three treatment centers that Lamar founded and we hope that Margera finds the help he needs. Here’s to a speedy recovery, Bam.
