‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is a lot like her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). When she knows what she wants, she doesn’t let anything stand in her way.

Victoria has felt some strong attraction to Nate Hasting (Sean Dominic). She wants him and it doesn’t matter that he works for her. Victoria wants him and it doesn’t matter that he is in a relationship. She doesn’t really care.
Victoria doesn’t have a sense of empathy for Nate’s girlfriend, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). She just sees who she wants, and she doesn’t care if going after her desires will hurt someone else. That doesn’t matter to her.
Her father has also had the reputation of being cold and calculating and Victoria seems to play in the same way. She believes, as the boss, that what happens at the office can stay at the office.
She is not hampered by any relationship strings and doesn’t care that she is going to mess with someone else’s relationship. This lack of empathy and concern is quite like her father.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Own Way
Victoria is also like Victor in the way that she is going to get what she wants. She does not let anything stand in her way. When her brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), tries to tell her that it is a terrible idea to go on a business trip to Los Angeles with Nate, she says she does not want to hear it.
Nick has had his own office affairs, and he is not in the position to lecture her. She doesn’t want to hear his advice or his warning. She believes she knows what is best for her and no one else can speak to that. This arrogance is also similar to her father.
The only one who can finally speak some reason to Victor these days in tumultuous times is Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas). She knows how to gently persuade her husband and make him come around to her way of thinking because they have been together for a long time.
At this point, no one can tell Victoria anything. She is her own person and is going to have her way, come hell or high water.
