‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for May 9 reveal the time has finally come for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to get that transplant. Will it be successful? Plus, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has some trouble ahead.

We’ll also see Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) taking Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) advice. Here’s what you need to know.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For May 9: The end?

First, General Hospital spoilers reveal some fans (us included) have not been shy about wanting this Willow storyline to end already. It’s been one twist after another to drag her illness out as long as possible.

Now that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been rescued and is now in Port Charles, Willow has a chance. But we assume she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) aren’t taking a win for granted after everything that’s happened.

Teasers say he and Willow share a tender moment. In the promo, Willow tells him, “This could be the last time I hold your hand.” We assume this will be right before she goes in for the transplant, and we really hope they’re not about to throw another wrench in the works to delay this story any further.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For May 9: A family divided?

In other news, Willow has been concerned about how Michael’s vendetta against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could harm the family. We think that’s not all she needs to worry about there.

It seems Ned defends himself May 9th, obviously because of the SEC investigation. This is one case where we can’t argue with Michael’s thinking. Ned did throw the possibility out there, so who else would they believe turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in?

It seems Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) might think the same way. Olivia asks Ned, “Going somewhere?” Someone definitely has a lot of explaining to do. But we’re sure Sonny’s search for answers will clear Ned.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For May 9: Taking a chance

Finally, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sam had some advice for Nina last time. And unlike the last time Nina took someone’s advice, this is actually a good thing. Well, sort of.

It seems Nina will ask, “Please, Carly, will you help me?” We do believe this will be a moment where things shift for them, and Nina’s relationship with Willow.

However, we’re also sure that it won’t be long before Nina is exposed and the whole thing is ruined. We like Nina and feel for her situation, while also seeing how she messed up—as did Carly.

In Defense Of General Hospital's Nina Reeves

However, we do think Nina’s real flaw is massive self-hate issues from what she’s been through. And the kind of “mothering” she got. It seems Nina manages to sabotage the good in her life, like she doesn’t feel she deserves it.
