‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of April 17th reveal the focus is on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). There will be plenty of action both on and off the Haunted Star as everyone tries to stop his plan. We do have one concern, though. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Eyes wide open
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has been completely blind about the kind of man Victor is. He’s even ignored more than one warning about Victor not being trustworthy.
Now, Spencer’s learned that lesson the hard way and he’s issuing a warning to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
One thing we can see from the promo is Trina’s obviously still managing to slip around the ship unnoticed. In the promo, Spencer warns her that his uncle is far more dangerous than Spencer could have imagined.
He’ll also tell her they need to stop him before land fall or it’ll be too late for everyone. They’ve got some hope, at least, now that Trina got a message back home. There’s one problem, though.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Bad move
See, while Trina was talking to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), she did a good job of getting info to them that could help.
Then she went and made a very big mistake. She took one of the walkie talkies from the communication room. Obviously, as it was in a very obvious spot, Victor’s henchmen noticed it missing almost the second they entered the room.
This makes us wonder how long they can keep her hidden. Between that and the lock to Spencer’s room being undone, they have to know there is someone else on board now.
And knowing how Victor’s been, he won’t stop until whoever that is gets caught. There could very well be a tense showdown ahead between Victor and Spencer over Trina’s fate.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: To the rescue
As for those back in Port Charles, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was brought into this Victor plan late in the game. But he might just play a big part in the effort to rescue the hostages.
In the promo, Curtis wonders how long Trina can stay hidden from Victor. Which obviously means he’s filled Drew in on all the latest. Might Drew’s military experience help make a difference now that he’s updated? We’ll see.
