Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers for January 19th reveal Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has been hanging in there. However, it looks like that’s all about to change. This will lead to a return of someone we haven’t seen in a little bit. Plus, it looks like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is getting ready to do the only thing she knows how when backed into a corner. Here’s what you need to know.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Coming home
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we haven’t seen Belle Black (Martha Madison) in a bit. But that’s going to change January 19th when she rushes home to be by Marlena’s side. We can likely expect a lot more feel-worthy scenes that are almost open “Emmy, please” advertisements.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Out of here…
So, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we’re a bit surprised and give the writers a big salute. We figured they’d totally gloss over the illegal nature of the evidence against Kristen. Instead, they used the fact Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was also in the recording to get around that in a legit way. And Kristen was really feeling the pressure before Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) showed up with that warrant. And why wouldn’t she have? She had half the town lining up to tell her off/threaten her. So, as the Salem PD begins their search, Kristen will be plotting her exit from Salem. And taking Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) with her.
We’re going to have to take a minute here. We still don’t believe Kristen would ever physically harm Rachel, and we were on her side when it came to being able to see her daughter. But that open, blunt manipulation of her own child basically sank her with us. We even doubt now she’s innocent of that note in Rachel’s lunchbox, despite the writers making it look that way. Another potentially cool redemption story wasted.
Peacock ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Goodbyes
Now, let’s get back to Marlena. We saw Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) race in to the chapel with word on Marlena’s condition, and it’s not good. Marlena will take a turn for the worse. And while we don’t expect anyone calling her death in the next episode, we do believe it’s not long until that one promo scene of her and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) happens. We find Marlena’s part of this interesting, actually. She’s holding on far longer than the other two. And they’re gushing even more about her than the others as well. It just seems a bit odd that ripped through the others so fast, so we’re curious if the writers are going somewhere with this.
