First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Steve was a lot more controlled than we’d given him credit for. Despite how he’d wanted to take out Orpheus (George DelHoyo) previously, we were a bit surprised his attack on Kristen was a put on designed to plant a bug in the DiMera mansion. And it worked, as he got Kristen talking about having hidden the orchid. It sounds bad, but we also have to point out that she also insisted over and over that she had intended to give the women the doses they needed at the first sign of illness. So, we wonder if that’s really enough.
Plus, let’s consider a minute how Steve got that evidence. Normally, we’d think that recording wouldn’t be usable in any case against Kristen. But this is Salem, so we assume anything is up for grabs. Especially given Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is the DA and she has zero love for Kristen. She’ll move heaven and earth to make that evidence everything they need.

Elsewhere, with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) doing so poorly right now, it seems Brady is feeling a lot of guilt, thinking he totally botched the Kristen situation. And we think he’ll be kicking himself mostly over the fact he didn’t think of a plan like that fake kidnapping earlier. We’re sure he’d think they might have the orchid in their possession had Kristen gone to get it a little sooner. But we think John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will do everything he can to convince Brady the only person at fault here is Kristen.

In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, Li proved he’s not a bit sorry for anything when he lied to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about not knowing where Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) is. Now that he’s come across Stefan and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) arguing, he clearly sees a way back into her heart by defending her. We give him credit for the effort, but we think he’s wasting his time. Gabi isn’t one to give up a grudge easy, and Li betrayed her in the worst way possible.

Finally, it seems Salem is actually taking numbers and lining up to tell off Kristen. And this time, it’s Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) who’s at the head of the line. We can’t wait to see this moment, and whether or not Kristen will look as defeated and guilty as she did with Steve and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) telling her off.
