CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for an interesting character building episode, and we’re looking forward to a couple of interesting moments.
Things are going to start turning sideways for the Mean Girls Club when the danger Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) unleashed on Genoa City is realized, though we doubt that group will ever admit they did wrong.
Without further do, let’s dig in!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 8: Taking precautions
It’s always better safe than sorry, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take steps to ensure Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is protected from any errant problems from Jeremy Start (James Hyde).
In his mind, Nikki was in the right to try to force Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) from Genoa City, though ‘Young and the Restless’ doubt he’ll feel as forgiving when it comes to Phyllis.
He’ll also have some not so pleasant things to say about Jack Abbot (Peter Bergman) for his part in keeping Diane around, but no blame will even be laid at Nikki’s feet.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 8: Out of patience
With his son now pulled into the circus that has become the Mean Girls Club’s anti Diane antics, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has had enough of the pettiness.
Even better, he’s going to continue his list of rants by going after Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) for her never ending quest, and he’ll probably bring up his grandmother at doing her fair share on unforgivable acts yet still being welcomed into the family.
We doubt he’ll be what finally wakes Ashley up from her blind hatred, but he may be able to chink away at her armor. Even she can’t be so blinded not to see the ramifications of what she’s helped bring about.
This is going to be a fun scene as Ashley will be taken aback, but she’ll return her own salvo for Kyle and everyone else being so blind to the venom she and, er, Diane is spewing.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 8: Feeling her out
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been through an emotional grinder the last few episodes, and he’s going to sit down with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) to touch base and test the waters.
He may put some feelers out to see if her thoughts on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have changed, but we think it’ll be more about Diane and what Summer’s having to deal with.
We expect Summer will feel like she’s caught between her mom and the world and won’t know what to do or be so frustrated she’ll be upset with herself for missing so many signs.
It’ll be a good father-daughter moment, and we expect plenty of comforting words and feels to come.
Will Kyle get Ashley to realize what she and the others have done? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
