It looks like David Dobrik is set to launch his own pizza shop next month, called “Doughbrik’s”, he’s been sinking a lot of time and it would seem a lot of his own money into this project and hasn’t really been promoting it across social media as he normally would.
Normally, David Dobrik would be all over his youtube channel vlogging everything about the process of building this pizza shop, but it would seem that he has quit youtube altogether in favor of other social media networks, instagram, tiktok, and snapchat, with snapchat being the one that he prefers.
David Dobrik set to launch pizza shop next month
His most recent snapchat story had him posting at the shop itself with all of his friends’ reactions, one of his friends said that they thought that it was going to be just a dinky little pizza shop but they were surprised by the way that the building looked.
“This is legit!” cried that particular member of the vlog squad. A few of David’s followers were outside at the time when he was showing off the resteraunt to his friends and they shook his hand and told him that they couldn’t wait for the shop to open.
Looks like in terms of wages, at least David has the right idea, according to some job ads that were listed advertising for staff at the restaurant, Dobrik was willing to pay significantly more than minimum wage to get people to work there which is good in this economy but might hurt him in the long run. Then again, it would seem that he’s got the money to run a business so we’re not too worried about him.
The only real thing that seems to be hanging over his head is the controversy with Jeff Wittek and how that has escalated into a very real legal battle now.
Jeff wants compensation, stating that David was not there for him when he needed him, and David has essentially plead no contest to Jeff’s claims – which Wittek says in an interview makes him infuriated. We’ll see if Dobrik vs. Wittek makes a dent in the Doughbrik’s bottom line. Stay tuned!!!
