Recently on a podcast, David Dobrik announced that he got shot at while standing in line for an afterparty in LA. Yes, after-parties are still a thing in LA, after all, in the words of one of the prominent TikTokkers “We can’t just sit at home and not make money.” because influencers seem to be under the impression that they somehow live in a pandemic-free bubble.
David Dobrik was one of the many influencers in line for this after-party, as well as Kodak Black and Kim Kardashian. The after-party was for Justin Beiber.
David Dobrik Reveals He Was Shot At While Standing In Line In Los Angeles
Dobrik had been in line to get into the club (a line that he said was an entire mess, but then, what would one expect at an after-party for Justin Beiber in LA?) but went around the corner to, for lack of better terms “relieve himself” because the bathroom line was too long.
Yes, that’s right, David Dobrik was literally peeing on a street corner, when suddenly, someone opened fire and started shooting into the crowd. Dobrik was unharmed, he said he was around 100 feet away from the shots when they were fired, but he did say it was scary because the entire crowd scattered and went everywhere.
Dobrik really didn’t comment on whether he skedaddled with the rest of the crowd (though, one would assume for his own personal safety that he at the very least took cover.), but it seems that other than being scared he was largely unharmed.
Rapper Kodak Black was not so lucky, though. On February 14th, 2022 he was struck in the leg by a bullet meant for one of his associates due to an unprovoked attack. Kodak Black, fortunately, is in stable condition and recovering nicely, his life was never in any danger from the injuries he sustained.
There were also four other individuals that were injured in this attack, so Dobrik can cont himself lucky that he was 100 feet away, doing something that should be publicly embarrassing but might have just ended up saving his life. They say the universe works in mysterious ways, they also say that the universe has a strange sense of humor… in this case, we’ll go with the latter. Stay tuned!!!
