There’s been some speculation within the fandom about whether or not Ethan Plath is still controlling his own social media accounts anymore. The reason being is, a lot of what Ethan posts these days… simply just doesn’t sound like Ethan. Or at least not the Ethan Plath that we know from what we’ve been shown on Welcome to Plathville.
The Ethan that we know posts goofy things, stuff about cars, yes there’s subtle shade every once in awhile, but it’s very tongue-in-cheek. Recently though, his posts have taken on a completely different tone, referring to wife Olivia Plath as “baby girl” something that honestly… just doesn’t sound like Ethan.
Is Ethan Plath actually controlling his own social media?
A lot of the fans have wondered if they’re even still together, and considering last season when both Ethan and Olivia seemed to entertain the idea of getting with people outside their marriage – it’s a valid question. Ethan honestly did seem completely clueless when it came to dating (he brought home a girl’s number in his coat pocket but never used it) but that’s not an excuse because Olivia grew up in the same culture and she didn’t score any phone numbers from guys while she was out.
Arguably, she could have if she had really wound up for the pitch if you catch my drift, Olivia is a very attractive girl and is a lot less socially awkward than Ethan, it wouldn’t have taken her long at all to find someone else… but the fact of the matter is, she didn’t.
We’ve seen that they have done a lot of traveling over the course of the year together, does that mean that they’re still actually together? Not really. That just means that for now at least, they’re choosing to travel together. Though, we did get confirmation not too long ago that Welcome to Plathville was filming again, so there’s that. But as for them being together romantically… that’s anyone’s guess.
There’s been no heartbreak posts by Olivia though, so for now at least they’re choosing to either not show or tell via social media, though that doesn’t mean that a few dedicated fans are not looking. We’ll have to wait until Welcome to Plathville S5 comes out. Stay tuned!!!
