A new week is here and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are looking forward to getting it off to a rip roaring start.
It looks like we’re going to get some excitement out of the gate, and it’s going to be balanced with some romance as Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) work to repair their marriage.
Without further ado, let’s dive in!
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Plans revealed
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) revealing his plans sounds ominous, but we doubt it’s anything mind blowing.
Given the hype, we think he’s going to share how he plans to buy up stock in Chancellor-Winters while hoping to win over Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
It may not be exciting or glamorous, but it seems like the main reason he came to Genoa City, with his claim to want Ashley back as an excuse/icing on the cake.
‘Young and the Restless’ suspect he’s going to want to speed things up. More interestingly, we think he’ll expect Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to understand his actions when it’ll really push him away.
Why not have a repeat of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)’s storyline a week after his betrayal was outed?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Picking up the pieces
Abby and Chance’s marriage has been on a rough patch lately after Chance resisted putting the Newmans ahead of the law and subsequently burying himself in his work, but they may be turning the corner on that.
They’re going to carve out some time to be together, and we’re expecting some more romance as they spend a quiet night at home or out after they drop Dominic off to be babysat.
We’d like to think it’ll be a cool date scene, but we have a feeling it’ll be more adult oriented than not.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Lily readies for battle
With their IPO drawing nearer and sharks circling Chancellor-Winters, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is going to start looking around and sizing up the competition they’re facing.
Not only does she have to look at Tucker and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as threats, but she’ll also have to weigh Devon up as she’ll have to work to convince him to follow through on the IPO.
He’s made his feelings known, and if Lily wants to follow hers and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton)’s vision for the company, she’ll have to convince him it’s a good idea or work with Jill to replace him.
Since Jill is the owner overall, she does have that power, but we don’t think that’s a step either of them want to take.
Will Devon come around or will Lily and Jill have to consider other options? Let us know below and check back with ‘Young and the Restless’ for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
